Presenter is Doug Harman, historian and Chisholm Trail expert, who will speak about the Chisholm Trail and how Fort Worth became the ‘Queen of the Prairie’.
Doug Harman, former Fort Worth City Manager and past president and CEO of Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau, earned his PhD in Urban Administration from American University. He is a regional expert on all things Chisholm Trail! He has authored more than 60 published articles appearing in professional journals and has developed a number of museum exhibits on Texas, Fort Worth and Western heritage topics, including the Chisholm Trail Exhibit at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and a Quanah Parker exhibit.
