James A. Murphy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will provide an overview of the land surrounding the dam and include the Corps’ role in flood control, water supply, recreation and stewardship. A tour of the Lake Lewisville Dam will follow the presentation. Park at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers office. We'll caravan to the dam following a short presentation and lunch. We will be outside so dress comfortably for walking. Bring insect repellent as well.
