System Change, Not Climate Change: NTX Transit Riders Meetup - Dallas

The North Texas chapter of System Change Not Climate Change (SCNCC) and the North Texas Transit Riders will be meeting to continue organizing efforts to democratize mass transit in the DFW metroplex for the purpose of finding a concrete way of reducing regional fossil fuel use and, at the same time, expand a much needed service in neighborhood/communities that have been denied adequate mass transit due to racism and class discrimination. Our specific focus will be on mobilizing oppostion to DART's fare hike. DART's final decision concerning the rate hikes is currently scheduled for Aug. 8.
