  • Planet Shark Speaker Series *FREE - The four-part Planet Shark Speaker Seriesculminates Thursday, July 19 with David Gallo, Director of Special Projects at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Featured in Underwater Universe on “The History Channel,” Dave will discuss The Secrets of the Sea: Exploring Neptune’s Realm. His presentation will review some of the most recent oceanographic discoveries and will introduce the audience to the next generation of technologies that will lead us into the future of ocean exploration.

 

About David Gallo:

For the past 25 years David has been at the forefront of ocean exploration, having recently served as co-expedition leader on a mapping mission to RMS Titanic and co-leader of the successful search for the missing aircraft, Air France 447. David is passionate about exploring planet Earth and about the relationship between humanity and the sea.

*Speaker Series lectures are free, but reservation is required for admission.
