Fall Migration in West Texas - Lubbock

Please join Ft Worth Audubon Society for our first out-of-town field trip for the 2011-2012 season.

From September 23rd – 25th we’ll be enjoying Fall Migration in West Texas – Lubbock to be exact! Our leader will be Texas Tech’s Cameron Carver. Cameron, an avid birder, is a past recipient of a Fort Worth Audubon Society scholarship; he is the current president of the Llano Estacado Audubon Society and is also President of the Texas Tech Range, Wildlife & Fisheries Club. His dad, Craig Carver, will be co-leading.

Below is the tentative itinerary (birding locations are subject to change based on what birds are being seen in the area). The trip will be limited to 12 participants and FWAS Chapter Only members will get first priority. Please RSVP to me (contact info below) no later than August 13th and indicate if you would like to carpool and have a roommate. Accommodations are TBD.
