Join us for this fun opportunity to learn\/improve\/practice nature photography with longtime photographers Dale Edelbaum and Wendel Withrow. Come get inspired to better capture the beauty and uniqueness of nature, wherever your adventures take you. Class size is limited so register quickly to secure your seat.

Bonus:<\/strong> Class participants are invited to bring your cameras and join Dale and Wendel for an easy walk of a short distance or a few miles, depending on participants\u2019 preference and weather conditions. The Native Plant Society of Texas Fall Symposium is for anyone interested in learning how to preserve Texas' rich native plant communities. The conference will draw a diverse audience of academics, conservationists, educators, landscaping pros and native plant enthusiasts from across Texas. Folks who can't attend in person can join virtually.<\/p>

Saturday's schedule is packed with insightful presentations from recognized experts in local ecoregion vegetation and native plant habitats. Among the topics: Growing in a Drier World, Landscaping to Maximize Available Rainfall, Growing for Birds, Restoring Grasslands, and Bringing Native Plants to Texas schools. Sunday offers nine amazing guided field trips to natural areas around Salado, including the Gault Archaeological Site, the Blackland Prairie Replication Site at Granger Lake, and Salado Creek.<\/p>

Salado Middle School will serve as the symposium headquarters.
