Grand opening of DFW’s newest Barnes & Noble in Rockwall.
Wild DFW author and Green Source Texas senior reporter Amy Martin will give a short talk and then sign copies and answer questions about North Texas nature.
Also mix and mingle with:
• Mick Tune of the @Dallas Paleontological Society will bring some of the 145 to 66 million year old fossils he discovered at the Ladonia Fossil Park, an hour northeast of Rockwall.
• Members of the Rockwall Butterfly Brigade will extoll their pollinator gardens and a butterfly meadow in Rockwall (tentative).
• North Texas Master Naturalists Ted Zobeck with avian biologist and raptor researcher Heather Bullock will share their knowledge of birds and birdwatching spots around Rockwall.
