Local beekeepers compete for the coveted title of “Best Honey in Dallas.” Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a diverse array of honeys, celebrating the incredible bounty produced by our local pollinators. The evening will feature special honey tasting party content for everyone's enjoyment. Snacks and drinks will also be provided.
Whether you're a seasoned beekeeper, a curious gardener or simply a fan of delicious honey, you're encouraged to join. The competition will be judged by attendees at the event.
Lisa Dittfurth of Crooked Creek Apiary will be presenting on "How to Make Cream Honey” and discussing its discovery and history." As usual, the monthly Beginner Beekeeping class will be offered free of charge at 6 p.m.
