David Coke, Cross Timbers Urban Forestry Council Citizen Forester, will talk about true Texas natives. No "well adapted" trees will be addressed. A country boy living in the city, he doesn’t like the look of manicured lawns, what they are doing to our environment with pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, mower emissions, and water consumption. David thinks trees should be the focus of our urban yards and those trees should help with utility consumption.
