Classes and demonstrations on environmental awareness will take place throughout the day. Ecofest Arlington will also have many children's activities including games, crafts and educational presentations. The city will be giving away trees while supplies last. Free.

EDT provides a day of fun, free activities and information to help ordinary people learn practical ways to improve the health of the planet and that of their children.
This year’s keynote speaker is John Nikirk, who will address the topic “Healthy Diet, Happy Planet.” His talk will explain how changing one’s diet can improve overall health, tell how human eating patterns impact the health of the planet, and give practical tips on making healthy smoothies and other nutritious but tasty foods.
