Kids ages 10-15 will learn basic fishing techniques at this week-long camp. Instructor will teach how to tie a hook, handle fish, and remove a fish from the hood. Students will also learn the proper way to cast a bait caster reel and will discover what types of baits to use in different situations. The camp will spend time reviewing fishing safety standards. Campers will venture to area lakes to develop basic fishing skills. Students will need to bring their own fishing gear, bait, a sack lunch, and drink every day. $65. Tuesday-Friday, July 5-8, 7:30am-12:30pm.

Earth Day Dallas hopes to catalyze a "green" movement in North Texas by staging a two-day event on April 22nd and 23rd over several city blocks in the Dallas Arts District. We anticipate 500 civic, corporate and non-profit participants engaged in an event that will be the biggest and best Earth Day celebration in this part of the United States.
