White Rock Local Market - Dallas

 
White Rock Local Market is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit farmers market where local farmers, ranchers, and artisans sell directly to our East Dallas neighborhood. White Rock Local Market is a meeting place for residents to buy fresh, local and healthy foods, and quality arts and crafts.

WRLM is held twice a month – the second and fourth Saturday – at The Green Spot Market and Fuels. Second Saturdays are Everything Markets and feature farmers, food artisans and arts and crafts. Fourth Saturdays are Just Farmers - farmers, producers, and food artisans.

Denton Community Market - Denton

The market is local art and produce market located @ Carroll Blvd. and Mulberry St. near downtown Denton, Texas. We are a community gathering space alive with music, local food and produce, locally produced handmade arts and crafts, on-site food, local business, community groups and more! We encourage you to come to any of our market days. Our 2012 market season begins on Saturday, May 5th and continues through October 27th. More info here.

A Peep At the Coops Urban Coop Tour - Dallas

A Peep At The Coops Urban Coop Tour in East Dallas will be on May 20th from 11:00 - 5:00. The tour headquarters is at Stonewall Jackson Elementary, 828 E. Mockingbird Lane in Dallas. Tour maps can be purchased for $5 at the headquarters and there will be 12 backyard chicken coops on the tour this year. Plant Safari + Plant Sale - Dallas

We offer the same safari on Saturday. This pre-sale tour by TDG's garden experts shows you how to incorporate native and adapted plants into your landscape. DIY Drip Irrigation - Plano

Drip irrigation is 90% efficient, promotes healthier plants, and is usually inexpensive and easy to install. Come and learn about types of drip irrigation and the basics of how to install it at this free class. Registration of 8 people is required in order to hold the class.
