Starr Krottinger is on a campaign to alert native plant enthusiasts to the arrival of the Emerald Ash Borer, which has destroyed tens of millions of trees in the U.S. and Canada. 

During her presentation, Ms. Krottinger will answer questions, such as, what does the borer look like, what and how does it damage the ash tree and what to expect in the future. 

“It has already been detected in Texas, so you might say I am like Paul Revere, but instead of warning about the British, I am crying, “the Emerald Ash Borers are coming!”
