Farm to Table - Coppell

The Coppell Farmers Market is hosting the third annual Farm to Table Dinner to honor the face and place of local food. The evening will begin at the Coppell Community Garden, parent non-profit organization, with a 6 pm garden tour and appetizers. Just down the road, in Coppell, at Grapevine Springs Park, guests will be treated to a 7pm outdoor dinner prepared by the chefs and culinary students at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Dallas and Le Cordon Bleu. Six-courses served at one long table will be paired with locally crafted wine or ale and will spotlight the farmer and/or producers, along with light jazz by Coppell pianist, Roland Elbert.   

Water-Wise Gardening Expo - Lewisville

Learn how to conserve water and protect the environment. Tour Upper Trinity’s Water-Wise Demonstration Garden, visit educational booths and get to know your sprinkler system. The garden and booths will be open 9 a.m. to noon. A “Get to Know Your Sprinkler System” class will be offered 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Registration for the class is required. Market Ready Training for Urban Farmers - Fort Worth
