Volunteer with the Texas Land Conservancy as it battles the invasive plant species at the Oak Cliff Nature Preserve. The organization is preparing for a renovation project that will ensure everyone has access to the beauty of this preserve.
Water provided. Wear closed toed shoes, and bring work gloves if you have them. Only 20 spots available!

While gardening, cleaning or enjoying a summer’s day, reptiles can often be observed around our houses. Join us as we discuss what common reptiles might be visiting your backyard, what their diet consists of and unique behaviors they may exhibit. FREE (with paid admission). Classes at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Spiders can be spotted as you venture along the trails. Learn about the different species you may encounter and learn how they benefit our ecosystem. Short presentation precedes the hike. Bring water and dress for the weather. Insect repellent highly recommended. $5 (with paid admission)/MEMBERS FREE.
