North Texas Renewable Energy Group: "Electric Grid Battery Backup: Who gets to lead the next revolution in energy?" - Dallas

ONCOR, the state's largest regulated utility, just stepped forward with an audacious plan to invest $5.2B to install 5,000 MW of batteries on the Texas Grid. This emerging technology will help improve reliability, boost renewable and maybe lower monthly electric bills. If this project goes through it will be the largest project of its kind in the world.
