The Flower Mound Public Library will host the family-friendly “Bring Back the Monarchs. ”Monarch Watch volunteer Jenny Singleton will discuss the migratory patterns of the Monarchs, its biology, and beneficial plants for the butterfly. “Bring Back the Monarchs” is sponsored by Monarch Watch, The Flower Mound Foundation, Keep Flower Mound Beautiful and The Native Plant Society of Texas (Trinity Forks Chapter). Dallas Interfaith Power & Light will be hosting a screening and round-table discussion of the Nova documentary Power Surge. This film looks at the state of "green energy" in the United States and the potential impact of technology on softening the blow of global climate change. In addition, participants of this new faith-based initiative will be presented with an opportunity to comment on the draft mission and principles.

Two 3-week sessions will be held each Sunday afternoon from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
The camps will explore self and community impact & ways to live green ending with “A dream for a better tomorrow.”
