The North Texas Master Naturalists are hosting this family-friendly event to celebrate native plants and grasses. There will be activities for kids, including making seed balls and cornhusk dolls and storytellers. UT Arlington welcomes Emmy award-winner Jeff Corwin, host of the Animal Planet show "The Jeff Corwin Experience." Corwin has been working for the conservation of endangered species for nearly three decades. Corwin's book, "100 Heartbeats: The Race to Save Earth's Most Endangered Species," was published in 2009.
