The Austin rock ensemble Montopolis, led by Fort Worth native Justin Sherburn, will perform the multi-media show The Living Coast exploring Texas' Gulf Coast.
Dr. David Lary, physics professor at UT Dallas, will speak about his air quality monitoring projects and initiatives. Clean air advocates, EV owners/enthusiasts and anyone interested are welcome and encouraged to attend and connect with Dr. Lary.
Learn more about the environment. Join UNT and Future Without Poverty in this tow-hour hands-on session where you will learn to build a simple particulate matter (PM) monitor. All materials for the monitors will be provided and participants are encouraged to install them at their homes or businesses. Ages 18 and up.
The Dallas City Council Quality of Life Committee will hold a public hearing on whether the City of Dallas should join Dallas County and Plano in establishing a new high-tech, low-cost regional air quality monitor network for residents.
