Annual sale features assortment of annuals, citrus trees, fruit trees and small fruits, ground covers, herbs, perennials, shrubs, succulents, vegetables and vines, along with specialty plants grown at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden as well as plants offered by rose, African violet, begonia, iris, daylily and cactus and succulent societies. Other vendors will be selling garden-related merchandise as well. Tarrant County Master Gardeners will be in the center of the sale promoting plants that attract butterflies. Garden staff will be on site to answer your plant questions. BYOW (Bring Your Own Wagon) for loading plants!
Preview class on April 5 at 6 p.m. in the classroom of the conservation greenhouse on the I-30 access road between University Drive and Montgomery Street. Garden staff will make a PowerPoint presentation on plants offered at the sale. Fee is $15, which can be applied toward purchases at the spring plant sale. Call Judy at 817-392-5534 to register.
