8 a.m. – Optional classroom instruction at Kennedale City Hall, 405 Municipal Dr, Conferenece Room, in Kennedale. The class will cover bird anatomy, regional birds, basic ecology, habitat associations and behaviors.
8:30 a.m. – Birdwatching at Southwest Nature Preserve.
