REI: Walking the Camino de Santiago - Southlake

For more than a thousand years, pilgrims have walked the Camino Frances from St. Jean Pied du Port in France, over the Pyrenees mountains, and across northern Spain to Santiago de Compostella to the Cathedral of St. James. The 480-mile trek is usually covered in a little over one month. While originally a religious pilgrimage, it has become an adventure destination for over two hundred thousand pilgrims a year from around the world. Free.
