The Humane Society of the United States invites members, supporters and other animal advocates to Solving Problems with Coyotes in Dallas educational seminar.
This seminar will feature tips for protecting pets from coyotes, reducing coyote attractants in neighborhoods and how to haze bold coyotes. Coyote hazing helps restore the fear of humans back into habituated coyotes and involves the systematic use of deterrents such as noisemakers, projectiles and water hoses. Communities such as Denver, Colo., have achieved remarkable success using non-lethal deterrence programs.
If you're concerned about coyote sightings in your neighborhood, want to learn how to best protect your pets, or just want to learn more about coyotes, please attend one of these free seminars!
