There is still time to sign up for one or more of the summer cooking classes at the Dallas Farmers Market sponsored by the market, Dallas Market Friends and the Dallas chapter of the AIWF.
The Summer 2012 Cooking Class schedule is as follows:
August 4, Chef Scott Gottlich, Bijoux Restaurant, Theme: "Summer Bistro Cooking"
August 11, Chef Gerard Thompson, Rough Creek Lodge Restaurant, Theme: "Rough Creek Comes to the Market"
August 18, Chef Jay Jerrier, Il Cane Rosso, Theme: "Il Cane Rosso Cooking"
Classes are held every Saturday from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Doors open at 11:00 AM. The demonstration kitchen is upstairs in the Market Resource Center, 1010 S. Pearl Expressway, Dallas, TX 75201. Classes are $25 by the Thursday before the class or $30 at the door.
