Bella's Story Time for Preschool Children
Join Bella for reading and exploratory activities in the Burk Children's Library and the Tree House at BRIT! “Bella” is the host of BRIT’s family story times. Much more than a hand-puppet, Bella represents a begonia collected by field research botanists in Peru and sent to BRIT as a specimen. Beginning in February of 2012, Bella's Story Time will take place on the first Tuesday and first Saturday mornings of each month. These hour-long programs are designed for preschool-development levels and their adult partners. Parents, grandparents or guardians enjoy an interactive read aloud side-by-side, and explore hands-on nature activities inspired by the story. February 4 (Saturday) Time: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pre-registration not necessary; however, due to limited space, preschools and day care centers will need to schedule at least two weeks in advance. Families may attend at no cost thanks to the generous support of the Fash Fo 817.332.4441 1700 University Drive |
