Twelve Hills Natural Area: Nature Appreciation Day - Dallas

Come see... an owl! ...some cool bugs! ...spring wildflowers! ...butterflies! ...lots more nature!

Enjoy a celebration of the great outdoors at Twelve Hills Nature Center. North Texas Master Naturalists and Rogers Wildlife will be on hand to share information about our local flora and fauna. We'll also be recognizing the 2015 Rosemont Elementary School Nature Leaders. 

This event is open to the public. Children are welcome but please leave your pets at home. (Cancelled if raining.)

UU Church of Oak Cliff: Film Screenings: 'Born to Be Wild' and 'Protecting the Amazon Rainforest' - Dallas

Born to Be Wild documents orphaned orangutans and elephants and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them.

The documentary Protecting The Amazon Rainforest looks at the Kayapó of Brazil in their attempts to protect this important habitat.
