Day-long photo safari includes a workshop lead by Dallas Zoo photographer Cathy Burkey and Texas Parks & Wildlife's chief photographer, Earl Nottingham. Participants will photograph resident wildlife and get pointers from the experts.

Paddle the Brazos River on this two day overnight kayak trip. Fee includes transportation, kayaks, life jackets, paddles, primitive camping site, all trail meals and most camping equipment. All birders are welcome from beginners to experts — all you need are binoculars (or you can borrow a pair from FWAS) and a $5 entry fee.
Sign-in is at 5:45am at Al’s Hamburgers. The Scavenger Hunt begins at 6 am and ends at noon, followed by lunch back at Al's. Prizes and drawings.
