Dallas County Commissioners Court officially declared Marsha Jackson Day to be Feb. 22, commemorating when Shingle Mountain removal began, coinciding with Marsha Jackson's birthday.
A block party will celebrate the one year anniversary of Shingle Mountain being removed, Marsha Jackson Day 2022, and the efforts to promote the Park for Floral Farms.
