Native Plant Society of Texas, Dallas Chapter: Little Prairie in the Suburbs - Dallas & Zoom

For the past 5 years the City of Frisco has made sizeable investments into restoring pockets of the Blackland Prairie Ecosystem within its public land holdings. This presentation will focus on institutional and biological issues the Natural Resources Division has dealt with, the challenges that have popped up, and times where lemons have indeed led to lemonade (hint: there's fire involved). There will also be an overview of the 11 natural areas in Frisco where everyone can enjoy the Blackland Prairie.
