Green Source DFW Run for the Environment will not be held in 2015

We have scrambled to find a new location for our second annual 5K Run for the Environment ever since Cedar Hill State Park cancelled our booking to perform park maintenance. Finding all of the familiar venues booked, we finally located an alternative in Bob Jones Nature Center. However, last week after looking more closely at the trails, it was decided that the course – although wonderful for trail runs and nature walks – is too rugged for a competitive run.

As a result, organizers made the decision to not hold the Run for Environment in 2015.

We do appreciate the loyalty and ongoing support of our sponsors, volunteers and followers of GreenSourceDFW.org. With your help, the Run will be back in 2016 better than ever!
