It's a New Year and we're cooking up news things at Green Source DFW.

The big news is that behind the scenes, we're updating our site and soon we’ll be relaunching as Green Source Texas!

Going forward, we'll continue to provide extensive coverage of North Texas. But we'll be adding more stories from around the state, including more contributions from Wendel Withrow, the director of Green Source Texas. A fun new feature he’ll be contributing will be his on-the-fly videos from his travels, starring his alter ego, Handsome Hank — world traveler, hiking ace and tour guide.

"Hank has visited and wandered around enough parks and monuments that he lost track of the number," says Withrow.

Below is the inaugural Adventures with Hank video, filmed during the first snow storm of 2025.

Hank’s humble trek from his fireplace to the gigantic woodpile is a reminder that Nature is all around us — a treasure waiting to be found.
